The 2017 season of girls JV volleyball was pretty consistent this year and throughout the season, the girls made progress. The girls worked very hard every day after school on their volleyball skills. Also, in order to improve the team played scrimmages that basically helped the team do well during the matches.
The volleyball team spent most of their time working on their drills. Conditioning wasn't the most important thing for the athletes because all the girls are pretty athletic, so they can do pretty well in terms of running and jumping. Kelsey McCulley was also a big supporter of the team because she used to spend a large amount of time with the players. As we know, Coach McCulley had experience with volleyball at her college, where she was a very successful player. McCulley is definitely the right person to coach this team because she can teach the girls a lot of good techniques. The girls team is also very strong in terms of friendship because whenever any of the girls score a point, all of the players support her. Overall, the season was pretty solid because it was one of the teams at Ross that actually had a pretty good record. They ended up with 3 wins out of 7 games, which is pretty good because McCulley just started coaching the volleyball team.
The Ross Cosmos is very excited to see the progress of the JV girls volleyball team and hopefully the team will bring some more victories next year.
Good Luck!
