Student Profile: Dennef Chiriboga

Dennef Chiborga is 17 years old anda senior at Ross School. For his senior year, he decided to play Varsity Basketball. He enjoys playing basketball because he loves shooting and the concept of playing together as a team. Chiriboga has played basketball since he was in middle school, but he quit because he thought that he was not tall enough. The most memorable moment for Chiriboga was when he made two free point shots in a row from the same spot. His goal for the 2017 season was to improve his shooting and help his team with defense. One of the challenges that he faced this year was working with his team, especially passing the ball. According to Chiriboga, his biggest weakness is shooting and his biggest strength is defense. More specifically, his steals and blocks had a very positive effect on the results of the games. Dennef Chiriboga is a very strong player that gave the team a lot of power and support.
